{Detailed}

Apperance: Small in figure mimicking his young age, Laon aimed to make his avatar the smallest possible target. His dark green hair hangs between his lime green eyes and frames both sides of his face.  Two fox ears in a slightly lighter shade sit upon his head and a bushy tail of the same colour hangs down to his ankles.

Personality: Laon is headstrong, boystrus and proud, always aiming to prove how strong he is. Despite the great uncertainty brought on by the Apocalypse, he does his best to keep his chin up and encourages others to do the same. He always tries his hardest to keep groups together, but can get very annoyed when other judge him by his age and experience.

When called small/cute/etc. he becomes shy and flustered, yet slightly prideful at the attention. When alone however he has quite a bit of fear and self-loathing because of his ‘glass-cannon’ status, and the fact his avatar was designed only to work in teams. The lothing eventually turns into him kicking himself for mopping, and then comes full circle as it soon motivates him to keep going within the new world.

Other: He loves sport and science. His favorite sport is Soccer or Baseball, and his favorite subject is Chemistry. He's been known to read his brothers school books for fun.

History: (Real-World) Laon was raised in a middle class working family, his father a business man and his mother a nurse who often took nightshifts. While his older brother Ikaro had his head in the books studying to be a doctor, Laon spent his time outside playing sports like soccer and baseball. During a inter school sports week he befriended Kaiyu Tadashi, a girl 3 years older than him with a massive imagination. They got along like two peas in a pod, however Laon couldn’t help but feel sad that she would soon leave and not be back for a year.

The day before she left she realised how much it upset him, and made the suggestion that he join the game Elder Tale so they could compete together all year round. Usually not one for video games, he accepted her offer, along with her phone number. A few days later she talked him though making a character for the game. He had already done some research on strategies within the game, so he made his character to work solely with Kaiya’s.  The two spent their days training for sport and their nights going on quests within the game.

When his parents finally had time off the Subaru family went to visit Grandma B, however Kaiyu had convinced Laon to take his computer so they could both be on when the new expansion was added.

When they were sucked in, they were in two different regions. Laon was defenceless without Kaiyu, and thus was stuck until he could find a safe way too her.

Laon juggled the weight of his wooden staff from one hand to the other, laughing softly under his breath. “Alrighty, this shouldn’t be too hard.”
He stilled himself and firmly griped the carved wood, taking aim at the nearby rubble wall. With a swift motion he cast a spell, but not before another figure jumped out from behind the wall, causing him to shift aim toward the sky. “Hey! Watch were you’re hiding back there. Who are you anyway?”
